By organising this biennial, the organisers propose to create a framework for knowledge production and mediation of the contemporary photographical practice, to facilitate the formation of groups for the analysis of the current photographical practice in view of a better understanding of the role of the photographical image in relation to the contemporary cultural experiences and the multi-perspectival knowledge of the world, as well as to investigatigate the photographical practice of the young artists, who work in the field of photography, experimental film, and video art, in order to constitute a visible platform for developing a professional condition.
